A Third Remake???

Has that ever been done in film? Three remakes?

First was "The Women" - 1939 - staring Norma Sherrer, Joan Crawford and Rosalind Russell.













Next there was "The Opposite Sex" - which actually had men in the cast - 1956 - Starring June Allyson, Joan Collins, Dolores Gray and Leslie Nielsen.




























Now a third version is set to release this September with Meg Ryan in the lead roll with Eva Mendez and Annette Benning. I've viewed the preview... it follows the original movie version it seems - except for the modern day translation... It's more in your face as we all are these days. It also appears to leave the men out of the movie visually- only referenced to as in the first movie.



























Seeing as how I've been through this story line twice already - perhaps I'll save my $8 and wait to rent. :-)
