I have recovered my guitar, violin and diamond drop necklace!!!
The thief sold them to a pawn shop just outside of Little Rock for $300. Someone bought the guitar, then saw one of the posts I made on the Internet, and took it back to the pawn shop and told them to contact me. Thank God for the Internet and the kindness of strangers!
I had to pay the pawn shop the $300 they would lose to get my things now - or else would have had to wait 6 months to a year for the guy to go to trial and for them to recoup their losses from him directly. The man who sold these items to the pawn shop has been arrested for another crime. They now have to link him directly to the robbery at my home. First they have to run the prints - if they hit on at least a partial - then they can get a blood sample from him to match to the scene.
Thank you, Thank you, Thank you everyone for spreading the word and staying on the lookout! It really does work!!! I never would have imagined getting the guitar back so soon. Never! wow... I love the Internet!
